Valery
Krasovsky

CEO at Sigma Software

Valery has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He began his career as a Junior C++ Developer, later became a Programming Team Leader, and then a Project Manager. In 2002, Valery co-founded Sigma Software and has led the company ever since, initially as the Chief Operating Officer and later as the Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a small business with a few clients in Europe to a leading software provider with over 2,000 employees, delivering top-quality IT services to companies such as Volvo, AT&T, SAS, Fortum, Formpipe, Scania, and other world-known brands.

Valery actively collaborates with government authorities within the framework of the IT Ukraine Association and the European Business Association, as well as its Information Technology Committee. In 2011, he headed a working group under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that focused on modernizing Ukrainian IT education and creating a bridge between business and educational institutions. Valery continuously contributes to the development of IT education in Ukraine through collaboration with the government and educational institutions, as well as launching the Sigma Software University corporate educational platform, which aims to develop the IT community in Ukraine by exchanging knowledge and experience for IT professionals at all levels — from beginners to experts.

In 2021, Valery, along with colleagues from Sigma Software, Ideasoft, and Datrics, founded SID Venture Partners — the first unique Ukrainian venture company focused on investing in early-stage Ukrainian startups in the high-tech sector.
