One of the main goals of the Sigma Software University educational platform is to spread knowledge in the field of IT and foster professional communities to promote the IT industry.
That’s why we collaborate with military personnel specialising in military-tech, offering them free opportunities to upskill in IT through our educational programs and courses. These are service members with prior IT experience who contribute to Ukraine’s victory on the technological front by developing high-tech solutions for the Armed Forces.
In the near future, we also plan to expand our collaboration to include military professionals from other specialisations and war veterans.
Purpose – to support professional growth and provide upskilling opportunities for those who already have some IT experience or relevant education but seek to advance and update their knowledge. All of this is in pursuit of Ukraine’s swift victory.
Technology – the driving force of modern warfare, strengthening Ukraine’s defence capabilities. That is why supporting its continuous development is critically important today. Updated knowledge from industry experts, built on years of experience, and ongoing professional growth are especially vital for those working in military-tech.
A strong team of hands-on experts at Sigma Software brings over 20 years of experience across various IT domains and actively shares this expertise through more than 60 instructor-led training programs and courses. in the areas of programming, testing, innovative technologies, management, as well as on our own online self-study platform.
As part of our initiative for military tech developers, we offer free access to all self-paced courses, complimentary spots in instructor-led IT courses, and English language training. Additionally, we plan to launch specialised courses and learning groups upon request from military personnel within our competence.
Collaboration with Sigma Software University will help military personnel keep pace with the development of modern technologies and IT practices, continuously enrich themselves with relevant knowledge, and gain insights from the experience of practitioner experts at an international IT consulting company.
In August 2023, we signed a memorandum of cooperation with military tech developers. Since then, we’ve received over 180 requests for instructor-led and self-paced courses on our online platform. Today, the training is in full swing — and the knowledge gained is being immediately applied on the information front to effectively counter the enemy.
