Internship is an opportunity for students or IT beginners to learn from professionals, try their hand at training or a real commercial project in a company. Successful internship gives you the chance to become part of the Sigma Software team as a Junior Specialist.
In Sigma Software University, we have two types of internships:
GROUP INTERNSHIP
- Up to 5 participants in the group
- Implementation of a training project in a group under the guidance of a mentor
- 5-6 weeks
- Part time in the company’s office or remote
INDIVIDUAL INTERNSHIP
- One participant
- Work in a project team
- Real project under the guidance of a mentor
- 3-6 months
- Full time in the company’s office or remote

- Register for a program (adding your CV)
- Perform a trial assignment or test
- Pass interview with our company’s recruiter and technical specialist

NECESSARY POINTS IN YOUR CV
- Name, surname, contact information
- Information about the position you are applying for
- Key skills (according to the position)

- Work experience (from the last position to the first one). If you don’t have any experience, provide information about your training or practice if they relate to this position
- Additional information (hobby, knowledge of foreign languages, other skills)
HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN INTERNSHIP INTERVIEW?

- Why are you interested in our company?
- How can you get company interested in you?
- Why have you chosen this technology/direction for you?
- Your career plans. What do you want to achieve?
- What professional literature have you read recently?
- How do you make progress?
THE PROCESS OF AN INTERVIEW IN THE COMPANY
Interview has three steps:
1. Pre-interview in the online mode and an interview with a recruiter
Aim of this step:
- Get to know you
- Get more information/details about your CV
- Determine your technical level and knowledge of English
- Clarify your expectations from the internship
- Agree on further communication
2. Interview with a recruiter and a technical specialist (after passing the first step)
Aim of this step:
- Meet you in person
- Tell about the company, our projects and customers
- Tell about the internship’s conditions
- Determine your current knowledge level in subject area (theoretical and practical issues)
- Answer potential questions
3. Re-interview with an HR specialist and project / department manager
Aim of this step:
- Make sure that company’s and candidate’s expectations match
- Answer possible questions
If the candidate passes the interview, the recruiter will invite the candidate to join the internship, approve terms, conditions of the internship start, and other details.
