Sigma Software Camps are training programs for students of technical specialities, switchers, and those who want to start their careers in IT. They provide an opportunity to get the necessary professional basis to start in the profession, systematize theoretical knowledge and allows you to consolidate the material in practice.

Upon successful completion of the program, the best students will be recommended for a specialized internship at Sigma Software.

  • Duration: 2-4 months ~140 hours
  • Where: online
  • Format: group classes, 2-3 classes per week
  • Teachers: Sigma Software specialists

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO PARTICIPATE

Mandatory requirements for camps of all directions are:

  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structure
  • Minimal practical experience (training tasks) in the chosen technology
  • English language proficiency not lower than Pre-Intermediate

WHY CAMPS?

Camps are a great opportunity to start in IT for those who have no practical experience but have already started to study the theoretical foundations of the field. Step by step, you will build the knowledge base and practical skills necessary for the entry-level. Upon successful completion of the camps, you will have every chance to join the Sigma Software internship. Together with a mentor, you will immerse yourself in the real world of commercial development, work side by side with experts, and gain invaluable professional experience. Successful interns join the company’s projects as Junior Specialists.

HOW DOES THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

  • The training takes place in groups, in an online format. The program is designed in such a way that upon its completion, students will have the necessary theoretical and practical foundation for an internship at Sigma Software.
  • The course is usually conducted by 1-2 trainers. This allows you to take a broader look at the technology, analyze the specifics of its application, and learn from the experience of practicing experts.
  • Meetings with teachers are held 2-3 times a week, depending on the direction of the camp.

Participants will receive homework during the program. At the end of the program, participants will take a final test or present their own project, depending on the camp’s focus.

  2. Prepare your resume
  3. Register on the website: fill in the form and send your resume
  4. Take an online selection test
  5. Have an interview with a recruiter

WHAT SHOULD YOU INCLUDE IN YOUR RESUME?

  • Name, surname, contact information
  • Information about the program you plan to participate in
  • Key skills (according to the camp direction)
  • Education
  • Practical experience. If you have no experience, please indicate internships, or practice, if it is relevant to the camp, even minimal practical experience in solving educational problems will be a plus
  • Additional information (hobbies, foreign languages, other skills)

Think about the answers to the following questions:

  • Why are you interested in our company?
  • Why can you be interesting to the company?
  • Why did you choose this technology/direction?
  • Your career plans. What are you striving for, what do you want to achieve?
  • What professional literature have you read recently?
  • How have you developed your skills?
